The Carony system is only applicaple with the Autoadapt swivel seat Turnout
or the car seat lift Turny.
To be able to use a Carony wheelchair you need to have a Turnout swivel or a car seat lift Turny mounted in your vehicle. The Carony seat is used both as a wheelchair seat and as a car seat. This means that the wheelchair occupant, always seated, slides over via rails into the vehicle.
The Turnout and Turny have been crash tested, CE-marked and fulfil ISO standards.

Swivel base
Turnout is a universal swivel base for the Carony seat.
It is available as manually operated or as powered
by using a hand held control.

Car seat lift
The Carony is used in combination with a Turny, if the vehicle is highfloored. Turny swivels the seat outwards
and lowers it outside the vehicle. Turny is universal and can be fitted in any high-floored vehicle. Use the hand
held control to operate Turny. The movement stops as
soon as the control button is released.

K 5 Gas ring
This unique Gas Ring offers five different ways of
operating the accelerator.
(1) push the ring with the back of the fingers or
(2) push the ring with the thumb from the inside or
(3) push the ring with the thumb from the outside while holding the hand on the brake lever or
(4) pull the ring toward the steering wheel with the fingers
(5) If you place the special optional “K 5 Paddle Pad” on
the steering wheel you can push this to accelerate the car.

Brake lever
The Kivi Brake Lever is mounted by the steering wheel.
You brake the car by pushing down the lever and you
won’t need to take your hand off the steering wheel. It works smoothly with a short stroke and all strength used
is multiplied when transmitted to the brake pedal.
The handle has integrated buttons for the Hill Holder
and the horn.

Remote
transmitter
The steering wheel mounted Remote Transmitter can, when not in use, easily be removed leaving only the holder on the steering wheel. The transmission works via radio waves and activates the electrical functions: position lights, low beam lights, high beam lights, direction indicators, windscreen wipers (two speeds).

Carospeed
Hand control unit
Floor mounted hand control unit for accelerator and brake, through a mechanical link. Suitable for people with impaired leg function. A set of primary control functions
can be integrated into the unit: indicators, hazard lights, wind-screen washer and wiper, head-lights, etc.

Steering device
Suitable for drivers who steer with one hand and use a hand control unit for acceleration and braking.
