In order to be near the British customer and to be able to offer quick deliveries the company Autoadapt UK Ltd. was started in 2002 by
Autoadapt AB in Sweden. Autoadapt UK Ltd. is a sales- and distribution company that does not convert vehicles or supply to end users.

Autoadapt UK Ltd. is the sole distributor in the UK of products from the American company Braun Corporation, such as the wide range of wheel-chair lifts for Consumers as well as the Community market.
The American company Bruno Independent Living Aids is one of the world leading producers of vehicle lifts for wheelchairs, scooters,
power wheelchairs and stairlifts. Bruno is part owner of Autoadapt AB.
Autoadapt UK distributes the wide range of Bruno wheelchair hoists
in the UK.
Autoadapt UK Ltd. is representing the successful Italian companyKivi in the British market. Kivi develops and produces quality products
that very well complement the range offered by Autoadapt in the U.K.
and in Ireland. All products have been EMC tested and CE marked
and are accredited by Motability. Many of the products are also specificly adapted for several car makes and models.
The Swedish company Kvistberga sell their smart, light weight wheel- chair ramps in the UK through Autoadapt UK Ltd. The ramps are easy to
handle and are available in several different designs and dimensions.
Autoadapt UK Ltd. has been accredited by Motability and can provide a wide selection of high quality products, approved by Motability for the UK market.
Approvals by MAVIS
MAVIS (Mobility Advice and Information Service) is a branch of the
Department for Transport's Mobility and Inclusion Unit (MIU). Through
the mobility centre, MAVIS provide information and assessment service
to older and disabled motorists. MAVIS also develop and manage a
research programme to fill knowledge gaps in the area of motoring for
older and disabled people. MAVIS provide an education service for professionals working within and relating to the field of mobility and
disability.
